Our Beginnings

Owner and Executive Chef Simon Lee was born and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal, India

At the age of 14 he started working at a resturant in Kolkata.

1976

Simon moved to Sweden to continue with his restaurant journey

1987

Simon immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada with his family.

1990

Simon opened first Chinese Indian Hakka Restaurant of its kind in Scarborough, Ontario

Federick Restaurant opened second location in Markham, Ontario on New Delhi Drive
